February has been another month full of different activities!

For example, we went away for a weekend with everyone of the farm where Jander works, we were really close to the beach. Efraim really enjoyed the swimming pool a lot! Luckily all the boys of the farm were also there so there was always someone in the pool to play with him! Unfortunately I had had a little surgery that same weekend to take my wisdom tooth out, so I couldn´t really enjoy the barbecue for example. But even with an hurting tooth, it´s still lovely to walk at the beach!

Also Jander went to Salvador during the Carnival week. Every year all the bases of YWAM of the Northeast join together with about 500 people, to do evangelize during the Carnival. It wasn´t much fun for me again, as I was home alone with Efraim, but hey. The group has been working together with a local church and many lives have been reached with the love of God. The slideshow shows some pictures of this amazing week!

And of course we celebrated Jander´s birthday this week with a barbecue for some friends, we had a bout 30 people here, it was a lot of fun and most of all delicious!!!! The picture shows me and Efraim enjoying dessert!

Also we had some less fun things this month. Jander has had a little accident with the car. Because of the rain he couldn´t see a big hole in the road where he got stuck. Something broke on the front wheels. Luckily the car got fixed again, but the very few savings we had are finished now! Also somebody broke into our house this weekend, well, not into the house, they came inside the wall and were able to take 2 bicycles, I was just happy this didn´t happen while I was alone at home during Carnival!

Other plans:

We want to visit the base of YWAM Tyler Texas, to see the project Living Alternatives that Works with pregnant teenagers and adoption with our own eyes. We really feel God wants us to go as a family which means Jander and Efraim will both need a new passport and they will have to apply for visa in Recife, will you please pray for that and also for the finances for this?

We´re planning to go to Holland in November this year for our furlough. Please also pray for our preparations for that and finances.
