We´ve already arrived in the month of April, it´s time for another message from us! We also wrote a new newsletter, but I still need to translate it….

I´m the Son of the KING!!!!!
Good morning!!!!
Well, let´s get on with some news. This month the project Vida Nova worked together with the project Casa de Meu Pai (where Jander works) The boys at the restorationfarm all come from needy families where violence & poverty are a daily routine. (The boys obviously wouldn´t choose the streets if they´d have a good home situation) Casa de Meu Pai organizes a family meeting every month for the families of the boys. But they wanted to do something more for the sisters of the boys, and there are quite some of them! We already organized 3 afternoons for girls, joining some of the girls we work with in Oitão Preto. But this time we chose 5 girls to get professional course in costumizing plain flipflops into fancy sandals. The picture below shows us trying to sell them at the nations2nations conference. Also we´re planning to organize a retreat for the girls this month, focusing on self-esteem!from left to right: Melanie, Mirjam, Selma, Miryam, Zilda, Wilma
The last weekend of March we had another Nations2nations conference, this time in our own little city Aquiraz!!! During this conference we focus on celebrating God with all the diferent cultrues, languages and people, all in their own and unique way, this way we get a little glimpse of heaven:
“After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."

On March 6th we had a special event because of the International Day for Women. We gave out roses to over 100 women in an area of prostitution. Read more about it on out project blog http://vidanovafortaleza.blogspot.com
On february 28th Gabriel was born, the son of B*** one of the girls we counseled during her pregnancy. Also you can read more about it on the blog http://vidanovafortaleza.blogspot.com
Going to Texas
In the beginning of this year we had a training from the people of Living Alternatives, from the YWAM base of Tyler, Texas. Alread since the first time they were here I´v had the desire to visit them, to see the projects with my own eyes, and to learn even more. And this came back really strong this year, even with the desire to go as a family. Which means we´ve just asked for a new passport for Jander and Efraim, and this week we´ll make an appointment to apply for visa in Recife. It´s not very easy, we really do need a miracle, 75% of the visas are denied, and we also need a lot of money, about 300o US$. Please pray for us and let us know if you can/want to help us in any way!!!
